SGS Helping Children
The SGS Branch in Far East Russia has been providing assistance for the last 7 years to the Children’s House located in Nakhodka, the large Russian port city on the Sea of Japan. On April 10, 2009 the Nakhodka’s Children’s House celebrated its 10-year anniversary.
The Children’s House in Nakhodka is part of the Children’s Hospital №2 and its function is to nurse and bring up babies that due to various circumstances have become orphans. On the occasion of the anniversary, a concert took place gathering many guests: officials from the City and from Primosky Region, former employees and actual friends of the House. SGS had the status of an honorable guest at this celebration.
Alexander Kudymov, Head of the SGS Branch in Far East Russia: “On this festive day we presented children with some gifts. We are happy of being able to contribute to such a necessary and important cause.”
