Forbes Ranks SGS as One of the Global High Performers for Business Services
As corporations increase in size and complexity, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep growing at a rapid pace. But even in the ranks of global giants, there are a few exceptions - fast growing, nimble and well-managed companies that help set the benchmarks for their respective industries.
To find such examples, Forbes did a careful search of the Global 2000 - the list of the world's largest companies based on a composite ranking of sales, profits, assets and market value - in order to identify companies that are global superstars in every sense.
To choose these companies, Forbes scored the universe on sales and profit growth, return on equity, stock market returns, debt to capital and long-term profit growth forecasts. As a result, SGS ranks number 3 within the Business Services Category.
The SGS Group is the global leader and innovator in inspection, verification, testing and certification services. Founded in 1878, SGS is recognised as the global benchmark in quality and integrity. With more than 55'000 employees, SGS operates a network of over 1'000 offices and laboratories around the world.
