Interregional Distributive Grid Company of the South (MRSK Yuga) has been certified by SGS under three international standards: ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

The certification audit was conducted by experts of SGS Vostok Limited, the Russian subsidiary of the SGS Group, in selected divisions of MRSK Yuga.

“One of the major advantages gained through certificates of conformity issued by a globally recognized certification body is the increase in investment attractiveness of a joint-stock company”, noted Valery Borovik, Head of Quality Management at MRSK Yuga.

OJSC Interregional Distributive Grid Company of the South is responsible for electric power transmission on grids of 110 kV and lower on the territory of six Federation Subjects: Krasnodar Region, Rostov, Astrakhan and Volgograd Areas, Republics of Kalmykiya and Adygeya. MRSK Yuga maintains about 423 thousand square km of overall territory with the population nearly 14 million. The extension of air and cable power transmission lines in Company’s service reaches one fourth of a million km. Staff number is almost 20 thousand people.
