SGS participated to the Mining and Mineral Exploration Forum MINEX Russia 2012
From 2 to 4 October 2012, the 8th Mining and Mineral Exploration Forum “MINEX Russia 2012” took place in Moscow. At the Forum, SGS presented the capabilities of Chita laboratory, which offers extensive geochemical and metallurgical services to meet mineral testing needs.
MINEX Russia Forum is the largest and most prominent Mining and Mineral Exploration event in Russia. It annually brings together over 500 mining professionals, investors and service companies from across Russia, CIS, Europe, Australia, Africa, America and Asia. Organised in Moscow since 2005 the forum is dedicated to promotion of the best mining practices and mineral exploration projects helping to facilitate new international business ventures for the Russian mining industry. Over the years the forum has been visited by more than 3000 mining professionals and investors.
During the business session on October 3, Valery Asalkhanov, SGS Chita Metallurgical Laboratory Business Manager, delivered the paper on the topic of variability metallurgical comminution testing of ore bodies.
Opened in 2007, the SGS facility in Chita offers high quality geochemical and metallurgical services to the Russian mining industry. This facility conforms with GOST R ISO/IEC 17025, is licensed to carry out testing with the use of radioactive substances and operates in accordance with National Instrument 43-101, JORC and the Russian State Mineral Reserve Committee’s requirements.
