SGS Delivered the FSSC 22000 Course for Vsevolozhskiy Meat Plant
The group of Vsevolozhskiy Meat Plant staff has successfully passed the exam after completing the SGS course ”FSSC 22000 (ISO 22000:2005 + ISO/TS 22002-1). Implementation and Documentation”. The three-day seminar was conducted in the framework of the project focusing on development and implementation of the food safety management system in the meat plant as per FSSC 22000 requirements.
During the seminar its participants learnt about key principles for the development and implementation of a food safety management system on the basis of ISO 22000:2005 and ISO/TS 22002-1 standards. Food hazards and control measures as well as pre-requisite programs PRPs were discussed in detail. Particular attention was paid to HACCP planning, to operational PRPs and to verification and improvement of a food safety management system.
Sixteen employees took part in the SGS course: top- and middle-level managers and specialists directly involved in the process of implementing the food safety management system in the plant. General Director of Vsevolozhskiy Meat Plant Andrey Vladimirovich Zaytsev made significant contribution to the seminar discussion.
Vsevolozhskiy Meat Plant is specialized on cutting and packaging of chilled and frozen meat as well as on production of a wide range of chilled semi-finished meat products under SAMSON (red meat) and Fileya (poultry) brands.
