Vladivostok hosted the first SGS Academy public course
Keeping expanding in Far East Russia SGS Academy conducted the first public course in Vladivostok. The HACCP Implementation and Auditing Training took place on 6-8 November 2013 gathering representatives of various food companies from Primorskiy Krai (Far East Russia).
During three days the trainees got acquainted with fundamental requirements towards a food safety management system. Each of the seven HACCP principles and 12 steps to implement those principles in a food plant were scrutinized in the framework of the course.
‘In the past, Primorskiy Krai manufacturers had to send their employees thousands kilometers away to attend our courses focusing on management systems standards. That is the reason why local companies welcomed SGS conducting a public course in Vladivostok’, commented Elena Veretennikova, Training Manager at Systems and Services Certification of SGS Vostok Limited, the Russian subsidiary of the SGS Group. ‘I am pleased to highlight that all trainees highly appreciated our trainer’s expertise and the practical focus of the session’.
